Going Teq-tropic with cocktails in Cannes

Fraternity Spirits is continuing to build distribution for its range of premium spirits, including Tequila Corralejo, Vodka Boker, and, more recently introduced, El Ron Prohibido Rum. The company reports that this year has seen it consolidate its duty free listings in Mexico, The Maldives, The Philippines, India (Delhi Duty Free), Nepal, Dubai Duty Free, Sri Lanka Duty Free (Flemingo), and Bangalore Duty Free (Nuance). New listings have been secured in Japan and are imminent in Sydney, Australia, and Korea.

To its promote Tequila Corralejo to travellers, and support its annual Margarita competition for bartenders, Fraternity Spirits is highlighting the use of its 100% pure Blue Weber Agave tequilas, as the base for a perfect cocktail.

At TFWA World Exhibition (Blue Village E1), Fraternity will be preparing its new Teqtonic cocktail, a simple drink of Corralejo Blanco Tequila and tonic water spiked with lemon. Additionally, Fraternity has linked up with Rives, a Spanish company creating a wide range of 100% natural tropical syrup flavours. Ideal for blending with tequila for a cocktail guaranteed to inspire thoughts of holidays and relaxation, Fraternity is testing reaction to a combo pack of Tequila Corralejo and Tropic syrup as a travel retail exclusive. Says managing director Raffaele Berardi: “The main objective is to encourage travellers to experiment with tequila at home, creating easy to make cocktails.”

Visitors to Cannes can taste the cocktails every day from Monday to Thursday between 13.00 and 18.00 on the Fraternity Spirits stand.
